Ambedkar’s view on social justice
Concept on social justice
social justice implies that all benefits and boons in the society should be participated by all its members. However, the government should take affirmative action in barring similar inequalities, if there's any structural inequality towards any particular section. In simple terms it's related to the idea of positive leftism and with the conception of weal state. It stands for that kind of state whose functions aren't limited to law and order but are extended to take care of the people who aren't in a position to help themselves. Ambedkars view on social justice. According to ambedkar, his social justice is grounded on moral values and tone- respect. Justice situates through social, political and profitable judges regulated by constitution.
Ambedkar's reflection on
Hindu social system vis a vis untouchability .Ambedkar wanted to reorganise the
society on equivalency and rationality, thus opposed the estate grounded on
social structure which he allowed, was characterised by canted inequalities.
According to Ambedkar, the Hindu Society, in common was composed of four
classes videlicet, Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishya and Shudhras. These classes
came an enclosed unit called estate and brought with it unstable distribution
of benefits and boons. Ambedkars View on social justice .He
was a loyal religionist that in order to make a society grounded on equivalency
and fraternity, the estate system must abolish, so being the victim of similar
demarcation, he decided to give his life to fight battle against this system.
Estate implies a system in which status and
occupation are heritable and descend from father to son. With the development
of estate, all the conditions of just social order were lost. With the
obsession of individualities into gentries and sub-caste, their status and
occupation were fixed by birth. Ambedkars View on social justice. The existent wasn't a free human to choose his
course of action. Similar system of regarding the status of individual by birth
lead to disorganisation of Hindu society.
The Shudras came the worst victims as their position was worse than slaves, they were denied introductory access to water, wells, tabernacle was out of reach and they were forced to live in dirty places in the outskirts of townlets. Their touch shadow or bare voice was enough to contaminate the estate Hindus. Ambedkar himself probed the estate system. His three tracts are obliteration of estate, who were Shudras and the rejects. His findings were as follows. Ambedkars View on social justice. Originally Varna's were grounded on worth but in the course of time worth was replaced to birth and the four Varna's were regarded as gentries. The principle of canted inequality fixed the contact between gentries.
There was according to Ambedkar a close relation between estate system and untouchability. It was thus not possible to abolish the one without rescinding the other. There can be no severance between the two as untouchability is the extension of estate system. he editorialized that the two stand together and fall together. Ambedkars View on social justice. He thus favoured invalidation of estate system and reorganisation of society on the base on equivalency, liberty and fraternity only also social justice could be achieved.
Conclusion
The study concludes that Ambedkar's notion of
social justice is grounded on liberty and quality and as a result of his study
Indian constitution guarantees equal rights to all irrespective of estate. It's
because of his round the timepiece trouble that lowered the oppression of Dalit
to some extent.
The reason why I mentioned
to some extent is, indeed though the constitution has defended the rights of
tyrannized, indeed though the revolutionaries offered their lives for
equivalency, still they face demarcation on diurnal base may be the degree has
dropped but not the oppression.
It's because of the lack of knowledge on the part of so called upper estate. Of course Varna system has conferred different classes, different duties but nowhere it has conferred any honor or the sense of domination on the part of upper estate. So the only thing estate system is achieved is, it disorganised the veritably social order of the society. From the denial of introductory public musts to getting one of the numerous Chairpersons, India has still a long way to achieve the hunt of Social Justice.
